In Alissha's practice there is an ancient magic, a quiet, witchy essence that fuels each stroke and swirl of color. Painting is not decoration here; it is an alchemical process where intuition and energy converge into something that lives beyond the physical.
A dialogue with the spirit realm.
As an empath and channel, Alissha experiences her work as an ongoing conversation with the unseen. Meditation, breathwork and oracle cards prepare the space; ritual sets the intention. The paint follows.
Colors move and shift under the influence of higher energies, an ethereal dance of intention that gives each piece its distinct emotional tone.
Whipped, poured, coaxed, layered.
Acrylic is whipped into a lava-like body that carries metallic and pearl pigments deep into the surface. A mix of flow medium and water is worked into the drying paint to distress and open it, creating the marbled and textured passages that define pieces like Aeracura's Petals.
Gold, copper, rose gold, pearl white and interference pigments are layered so the finished painting shifts with the light of the room, revealing itself slowly across the day.
From intention to finished surface.
- 01Ground
The space is cleared. Breathwork and meditation set the state; oracle cards or a specific intention frame what the piece is for.
- 02Mix
Acrylic is whipped into a lava-like body. Metallic, pearl and interference pigments are chosen for the palette the piece is asking for.
- 03Pour
Color meets canvas. Pigments are guided rather than controlled, they meet, resist and evolve into the composition.
- 04Coax
Flow medium and water are worked across the surface, canvases tilted, marks made and unmade until the surface holds the intended feeling.
- 05Rest
The work is left to dry undisturbed, often several days, while the metallic layers settle and start to catch light.
